Maggie Ruvoldt is an experienced C-level executive, founder, and former public company CHRO.
Maggie brings 30 years of human resources, business operations, and account management experience to her corporate and individual clients to solve complex issues and grow sustainable profitable businesses.
Maggie is the Chief Human Resources Officer at LEARN Behavioral and former Chief People Officer for 2U, Inc. In her C-suite roles, she has overseen US domestic and global human resources, talent management, talent acquisition, HR technology and total rewards teams. Her background also includes many years in operational roles driving profitable growth, account management and operational excellence.
She currently advises several pre-IPO venture-backed companies in the health, wellness, human resources, and education sectors. Founders seek her guidance for her deep experience and success in product development, building for scale, human resources strategy, hyper-growth, and account management. She is an HR Venture Advisor at SemperVirens, an early-stage venture capital fund investing in technology transforming healthcare, work, and financial wellness.
Maggie has consistently demonstrated her commitment and expertise in building and maintaining inclusive communities. Her leadership on issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion led to her 2020 appointment as an advisory board member of the Simmons University’s Institute for Inclusive Leadership. She is a member of 100 Women at UNC Kenan-Flagler, a women-led movement harnessing the power of the UNC Kenan-Flagler network to attract and mentor strong, ambitious and collaborative female leaders.
Maggie holds a bachelor’s in Psychology from Connecticut College, a master’s in Human Resource Management from Rutgers University, and an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler’s Business School.
